Davido floated new label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) shortly after the announcement of his deal to distribution deal with Sony Music. He also announced the signing of two new artistes to the label, Mayorkun and Dremo. In the past 2 months, Mayorkun has been pushed by his release of the chart-topping Eleko while Dremo’s Panda Cover, titled, Fela has gained him new fans. Mayorkun’s quick stardom and reported achievement of a million YouTube views on his Eleko video in 10 days was disputed by some including reputable music critic, Osagie Alonge. On the label’s first single, titled, Back 2 Back, Mayorkun replies to the doubters.

It is rumored that Davido shall soon announce the signing of Ichaba to DMW.
