Boko Haram kidnap 40 boys in Borno.

Boko Haram are at it again. Reports have come through that about 40 boys were kidnapped from a village called Malari on New Years Eve. This is the story that has been reported by some residents of Malari who escaped from the village and made their way to Maiduguri.

Malari residents claim that the Boko Haram insurgents had taken their village by storm in pick-up trucks on Wednesday evening and asked all males to come out and listen to a sermon. After which they were all taken to a nearby forest.

This is the latest of events from the Boko Haram insurgents. It is also worthy of note that in Gombe state there were two failed bomb blasts on New Years Eve and New Years Day.

One question which must rise however is “what is the military doing” and why are we only discovering these happenings three days after they occur?
