On Wednesday at about 3:40pm, a bomb blast occurred in the Wuse II District of Abuja.
The bomb was said to have been planted in a car parked outside the busy EMAB Plaza on Aminu Kano street in Wuse II, Abuja.
So far 21 people have been confirmed dead with over 30 people injured, with 17 cars amongst other properties of all sorts destroyed.
However, two suspects were killed while another was arrested as they tried to escape from the scene of the incident on a power bike.
The soldiers led by the Commander, Guards Brigade, Brigadier Anthony Omozoje, found an un-exploded bomb in the custody of the suspected bombers.
The force of the blast was also said to have destroyed windows of neighboring buildings.
Investigations have since begun to find out how the blast occurred.
