The Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako was attacked by gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram insurgents earlier today.
His convoy was attacked in Shuwari area of Adamawa state, as he was returning from paying a condolence visit to victims of the recent Boko Haram attack in the state.
The governor reportedly escaped in an escort vehicle and no casualties occured.
