Burna Boy perfoms anybody on Jimmy Kimmel live

OSTs are the way to go these days for musicians looking to make proper headway on international planes. While many haven’t gotten the hang of it, African Giant, Burna Boy has been afforded with astounding opportunities to transcend borders. Fresh off the release of his solo performance on Beyonce’s Lion King: The Gift album, he returns on My Money, My Baby on Lena Waithe’s debut feature-length film starring Get Out’s Daniel Kaluuya, Queen and Slim.

Joined by Lauryn Hill, Megan thee Stallion, BJ the Chicago Kid, 6lack and Vince Staples among others, Burna Boy provides the climactic movie with the necessary uptempo plane it’s scenes need to be more provocative and immersive.

As expected, Burna does a great job at projecting Fela Anikulapo-Kuti atop an original jazzed up Afrobeat instrumental that gives the track the perfect amount of afro-centric vibes it seeks to give off.
