Burna Boy to perform in Global Citizen Virtual Concert

As the COVID-19 lockdown continues to limit our movement and activities, one of the ingenious ways of building fun and entertainment has come from the transition to virtual experiences- live battles, DJ sets, interviews and now concert experiences.

Charitable organization, Global Citizen recently announced an upcoming concert titled “One World: Together At Home”. The concert, which was curated with support from American singer Lady Gaga, has raised $35 million which is designed to help healthcare workers and relief efforts in wake of the pandemic.

Self proclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy will represent for the continent alongside the likes of John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Lizzo, David Beckham, Kerry Washington, Billie Eilish, Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Chris Martin, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Lang Lang, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Shah Rukh Khan.

The concert will take place on April 18th and be hosted by late-night TV hosts: Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert.
