Africa’s first Nobel Prize winner, Wole Soyinka was interviewed by Channels Television today as Nigeria Decides.
Professor Soyinka spoke on issues he would tackle first if he was President Buhari. He ponders initially before then deciding that he would leave that to the President-Elect as there are a number of issues which needed to be sorted out in the country. Professor Soyinka also claims that these elections have been slightly above average largely because of the fact that in some states in the country citizens have refused to follow democratic processes.
Soyinka also speaks on campaigns so far and the forms they have taken, how expensive they have been as well as states where campaigns have been barbaric and miscreants need to be brought to order.
