Aliko Dangote continues to diversify and the latest industry he has delved into is the coal mining industry. The magnate has taken to Tanzania after the country offered his cement company land in a Southeastern town known as Mtwara.
Furthermore, a new Dangote cement plant has just been launched in Tanzania and boasts an annual capacity of 3 million tonnes.
According to NAN, the coal concession was sanctioned by President John Magufuli in a bid to ensure Africa’s biggest cement producer gets a reliable supply of coal to fuel its activities.
