Darkovibes And King Promise Are Smitten Lovers In Cheeky Video For ‘Inna Song (Gin and Lime)’

The Fader recently described rising Ghanaian artist, Darkovibes, as one of the talents emerging from this digital boom, revolutionizing the way life is seen in Ghana and helping to bridge the representation gap between Africa and the rest of the world. In the past year, we’ve seen the enigmatic singer work aggressively to attain feats like this and it has all led to the upcoming debut project titled Kpanlogo, slated for an early April release. Weeks ago, he paced the project’s release with the King Promise-assisted Inna Song (Gin and Lime) now this week, he quickly follows up with the mesmeric video for the single, in a bid to build on the anticipation of the album.

In the Yaw Skyface-directed video, Darkovibes stars as a chef-turned-entertainer who’s head over heels in love with his muse who also makes an appearance in the vintage-themed video. Darkovibes shares the spotlight with King Promise whose situation is similar and while both artists are stars in their own rights, they share the spotlight equally, complementing each other’s performance weaknesses and harmonizing perfectly to give the cheeky video its well-deserved sound plain.
