After moments of no music release and away from the music scene, Di’ja returns with a thought-provoking video for her single, ‘Save Me’ that brings to the forefront of our consciousness, the devastating situation of Nigeria as seen in the headlines for the past months.

Through the song which is off her EP “Aphrodija“ released late 2017, she gives encouraging words to those in need to express themselves, in turn seeking collective action by everyone to deal with not just the problems, but the causes of the problems, for sustainable development in Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

A few days before she released the song, she was appointed an official Ambassador for United Nations on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Nigeria. The SDGs, are 17 goals, set by the United Nations General Assembly, that cover social and economic development issues including poverty, hunger, health, education, global warming, gender equality, water, sanitation, energy, urbanisation, environment, and social justice.

Through Instagram, Di’ja made an announcement post for her new track, urging everyone to have some empathy for one another, regardless of religion, culture or tribe; people are people and everyone needs love and kindness.
