England FA shoot their shot with Alex Iwobi.

Posted on

The newest kid on the block is Arsenal youngster, Alex Iwobi. In the past week, he started at Camp Nou and went on to score during his full debut against Everton on Saturday.

The 19-year-old who has started three of Arsenal’s last four games has played for England Under-16, U17 and U18 sides before choosing to represent Nigeria – his country of birth.

At the moment, Nigeria and England are in a battle for Iwobi as they both want him to play a competitive fixture which will tie him down.

Iwobi who is Okocha’s nephew, is set to make his competitive debut for the Super Eagles after being named to face Egypt in the African Cup of Nations Qualifier.

Shall the youngster go for the Three Lions or the Super Eagles?
