Money makes the world go round! This is a theme central in Gbasky’s Money Devotion, an Afro Pop/Highlife record that highlights the sometimes tortuous path that comes in the bid to accumulate wealth. The single comes as part of the roll-out of his upcoming EP. Produced by West Culture, the single is in line with his more general message of optimism and motivation.
Speaking on the record and its message, he said “…the pursuit of money is one thing that defines us, especially as Nigerians. This is why – while I have spent nights toiling on my EP. I decided to release a song, an anthem if you will, to ginger us and keep hope alive.”
The EP (Black Frequency) will be released on March 2nd.
