President Goodluck Jonathan has sent names of four ministerial nominees to the senate for confirmation.
Senate President, David Mark announced the nominees during Wednesday’s plenary session.
The nominees include Ibrahim Shekarau, former governor of Kano state who recently defected from the All Progressives Congress, APC to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Other nominees include Ekiti state politician Adedayo Adeyeye, Abdul Bulama of Yobe state and Stephen Oruh of Delta state.
They will be screened at a later date.
