Lady Donli has probably scored her biggest year yet this year despite being only halfway through. Her two releases, Kashe Ni and Ice Cream have been supplemented by great delivery on her features including Fale Comingo, Circles and Palmwine Chills. With her third release of the year, Vibe, Donli yet again teams up with Monster Boy, Genio Bambino as she continues to heat up.
While Vibe shall be absent from the neo-soul singer’s next body of work, the track attempts to connect afrobeat and soul music and features additional vocals from Joyce Olong. Donli’s voice slides over a FaOn beat which features local conga drums and rhythmic urban drums and ends up creating a Caribbean feel.
