Lady Donli, Reekado Banks, Brymo, and Johnny Drille added to Gidifest 2020 line-up

Gidi Culture Festival (Gidi Fest) has announced the second wave of artists to perform at the three-day event, joining headliners, Rema, Flavour, and Naira Marley.

The new names include of the most talented and exciting musicians operating on the continent including Brymo, Lady Donli, Johnny Drille, Reekado Banks, WurlD, Joeboy, and South Africa’s Sho Madjozi.

Nigerian-born UK-based rapper Flohio will perform in Lagos for the first time this Easter, courtesy of The British Council, as part of a cultural exchange with Gidi Fest that involves Odunsi (The Engine) performing at The Great Escape festival in Brighton this May.

The seventh edition of Gidifest, themed “Bringing it home,” will be the first multi-day edition holding from April 9 – 11 at the Cricket pitch, Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.

Teenage star, Rema, is regarded as one of the most important faces of a new generation of Nigerian musicians and he would headline the first day of the concert tagged The Hangout.

On day two, Highlife king, Flavour, will grace the stage during the Rhythm & Soul day; Flavour is expected to give a signature high-octane performance that taps into his vast experience as an accomplished star.

To round the festival up, Naira Marley will be making his Gidi Fest debut this year as he headlines Day 3: Gbe Bodi e.
