It’s been a relatively quiet year for J Hus thus far. Taking a step back hasn’t in form take him out of the limelight all too familiar with an artist who is coming off an impressive year that saw him collaborate with the likes of Stormzy and Burna Boy and saw him put out his best body of work so far. As he returns, he does so in style as he comes with a three track extended playlist spanning just under nine minutes tagged ‘Big Spang.‘
According to J Hus, the EP is simply a placeholder ahead of the album and it’s an interesting trio of releases. Opening with Dark Vader, Hus proclaims “if I can’t have you then nobody can.” The second track, Scene is a warning with Hus asking them to take a step back and avoid causing a situation. It’s so short and sweet you never realise when he closes the EP with Dancing Man.
