Since her introduction, Nigerian designer, Mowalola Ogunlesi has set trends with unique designs and signature pieces. The young creative has shown brilliance in creating looks which she believes are true to the very essence of fashion — freedom. Her work includes styling; Solange for Dazed Magazine, Skepta’s hazy “Pure Water” video and the Nike Naija World Cup kit launch. Ogunlesi’s relentless efforts in creating a style that inspires have not gone unnoticed. British Vogue recently selected her as one of six leading, young fashion designers to dress Barbie, the world’s most popular doll, in their distinctive styles.
