Tanzania and Nigeria meet in Navy Kenzo and Patoranking's Bajaj Video

When Nigerians think duos, P Square is most probably first to mind, for South Africans it’s Mafikizolo, for Tanzanians, the last few years has seen the rise of Navy Kenzo culminating with three nominations and one award win at the WatsUp TV Africa Music Video Awards in 2016. On their 2017 album, Above Inna Minute, the duo which consists of Nahreel and Aika worked with the likes of R2Bees, Mr Eazi and Patoranking as well as Tanzanian powerhouses, Alikiba and Diamond Platinumz. Their track, Bajaj featuring Patoranking is the first of their international collaborations to get video treatment.

On the record the central message is the need to keep the flame burning in relationships. Everyone knows how destructive lying to those you love can get and Nahreel touches particularly on this topic when he asserts the need to tell no lies. Patoranking and Aika touch on the need to treat your partners right and show appreciation. The video was directed by Justin Campos and shows a couple who head out for what appears to be a date where everything is alright and is typical of most dates in the courting stage.
