President Muhammadu Buhari has said he is not afraid of free and fair election in 2019 contrary to insinuations in some quarters.
The President noted that he is a beneficiary of free and fair election in 2015 hence, he is not afraid of a level playing ground during the 2019 polls.
He said this on Sunday while holding an interactive session with the Nigerian community in China.
The president is in China for the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit.
“I have no fear about free and fair election, because that’s what brought me here,” he said.
Buhari also talked about how he became president after trying four times.
“I know what I went through,” he said, adding that, “I tried four times… and the fourth time technology came and helped us and people’s vote counted”.
