President Goodluck Jonathan, today Wednesday the 12th of February sacked the embattled Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, Minister of Niger Delta, Godsday Orubebe, Minister of Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade and the Minister for State, Finance, Yerima Ngama.
The Presidency has not released official reasons for these actions, but speculation on social media is that they have resigned to campaign towards the 2015 General Elections.
