2020 is moving in the right direction for Runtown and for Dutch DJ Producer tandem, Yellow Claw, the singer is already an integral part of their adventurous, colorful and successful journey so far, especially given the perfect verse he delivers on Lie To Me, the sixth track off their fourth studio album, Never Dies.
Along with American singer, Tinashe, Runtown perfectly works the sprightly flutey instrumentals produced by Yellow Claw with a tranquil delivery of chaotic narratives fashioned in an acceptable format. The duo complements each other’s performance with distinct verses that gives way to sweet harmonies and lilt ad-libs which when projected over the smooth sound of synthesized drums and keys makes for the perfect camouflaged love story.
