Shane Eagle and Santi first showed off their excellent synergy on the latter’s Rapid Fire which also featured amaarae and Tomi Agape. They return as a stronger force this month on a single titled Vanya off Shane Eagle’s just released 23-track Mixtape, Dark Moon Flower.
Assisted by Dreamville’s finest Bas, Vanya is the aftermath of an introspective session inspired by life on the fast lane. Shane Eagle opens the track with a fluid verse filled with methodic bars after which Santi swoops in with an unexpected Rap verse twined with a Rastafarian inflected hook. Bas closes the curtains on the final verse with a stellar punchline fest.
On Vanya, Santi, Bas and Shane Eagle is the dream team except the former stands out with a performance that points at his diversity as an artist with an exquisite taste.
