Simi has released her first solo single of the year, Ayo following her joint single with husband Adekunle Gold, Promise.
Over the Legendury Beatz production, Simi sings about being elated and thankful for the blessings she has received over the years. She also sings about being hopeful for even better things to come her way in the new phase of her life she’s embarking on.
In usual Simi fashion, Ayo is peppered with the singer’s soothing soulful inflections from start to finish as she switches between her native tongue, Yoruba and English.
