Former Governor of Lagos state, Sir Michael Otedola passed away today the 5th of May.
The former governor, who has variously established his career as an international journalist, PR consultant, member of corporate boards and philanthropist, was 87 years old.
Otedola served under the Ibrahim Babangida administration as governor of Lagos state from 1992 to 1993, where he facilitated the establishment of the Epe campus of the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.
The Late Otedola is father to the Nigerian businessman, Femi Otedola and grandfather to female dj, Dj Cuppy.
The circumstances of his death are yet to be made public. May he rest in peace.
