Introducing; The Style Diary. Our new feature documenting the stylings of some of the fashionable people we know over a set time.

We chose Ronami Ogulu and Nengi Willie-Pepple to debut the feature. Hear from them;

Hey Guys!

We’re going to be taking you through our style diary with daily themes that will hopefully inspire, (emphasis on ‘hopefully’) you to try new things everyday and follow the great words of Uncle Snoop, “If the ride is more fly, then you must buy”. Hope you enjoy it, and most importantly are entertained.

7th December 2014: Party Prints vs. Pint-Sized Prints

Ronami: This outfit reminds me of a time in my life when I shamelessly declared that my nickname was to be “Retro-Ronnie”, *sigh* The perils of teenage life. I’m wearing a vintage crop top, which was initially part of co-ord and high-rise striped jeans. I’ve found that you can get away with more print mixing when the patterns are smaller and less conspicuous. I paired it with my silver croc flats and red zip choker to keep it casual for a brunch rendezvous.

Nengi: I am a sucker for co-ordinates. If the top and bottom match, send it my way! I love the illusion and unintentional deception co-ordinates give of one complete outfit. For those of you reading this that are African, I bet you’re admiring the print and wondering where it’s from etc. Well, brace yourselves, because you won’t believe it when I tell you that it’s NOT from the motherland, but rather it’s from ZARA!! Yep. I was just as surprised as you are, but I certainly appreciate their efforts.

#FoodForThought: It’s easier to sort through life one ‘load’ at a time!!
