Back in 2016, A Seith Mann-helmed original film inspired by hip-hop’s early years titled, The Breaks was shown by VH1. The network now plans to recreate the movie as a TV program based on the movie’s themes.
In anticipation of the February 20 premiere of the first episode of The Breaks, VH1 has unveiled an official trailer in support of the project. Featuring appearances from T.I., Method Man, Teyana Taylor, Wood Harris and others, the new promotional story for The Breaks reintroduces viewers to some of the story’s main characters.
