Waste is something we should never condone and Olabanke Banjo is doing her bit at working against environmental pollution in Nigeria by turning old and what some will imagine useless tyres into furniture.
Quitting her job in the past few months is gutsy but Banjo believes in her ability to continue to turn waste from refuse dumps and almost any road in Nigeria into good looking and appealing furniture.
She told BBC Minute: “When women see what I do they are inspired to do something similar. If I don’t take care of my environment, who will?”
