Nigeria has a very rich literary culture. From the greats like China Achebe and Wole Soyinka to contemporary giants like Chimamanda Adichie and Teju Cole, the nuances that form the Nigerian experience are constantly being documented.

Chibundu Onuzo is yet another writer whose insights make us more enlightened. The award-winning author with a masters degree and PhD is our guest on the second episode of the Made in Nigeria podcast.

After writing three published novels The Spider King’s Daughter (2012), Welcome to Lagos (2016) and Sankofa (2021), she shares her interesting story with one of the cohosts Afiola Etomi in London.

Combining her creative talents as a novelist and sometimes singer with a background as an academic, Chibundu is proof of the excellence that has become synonymous with young Nigerians. Enjoy!
