Reekado Banks has always been a love whisperer. On his last effort of 2020, his seven-track sophomore EP, Off The Record, he mined his experience in different subjects but peaked on love-centered narratives including the Tiwa Savage assisted fan favorite, Speak To Me, which just got treated to an Adasa Cookey directed video.
Featuring Big Brother Naija’s Pepper Dem season housemates, Wathoni and Bright O, whose chemistry in the house was controversial, Reekado leverages this almost perfect synergy to paint a vivid picture of his corny but engaging lyrics. Though himself and Tiwa Savage are conspicuously missing in action, the pair of Wathoni and Bright O take charge with their cheeky and comical actions that heighten the sensuality, Reekado hopes to project on the single.
