Afro B Puts Together Studded Crew for Drogba (Joanna) New Africa Remix

With the internet’s advent, the chance to connect with stars and fans from a completely different side of the world is much easier. It’s something we’ve continued to see with Wizkid and Tekno working with Drake to Davido earning notice from Cristiano for a line on a song. On a much smaller level, we’ve also seen it within the African continent as artists can collaborate easier and form connections with their counterparts from different countries. It explains why for the remix to Drogba (Joanna), which has become of the biggest songs out of the UK afrobeat scene as well as in Ghana this year, Afro B recruits a crew putting a Nigerian act in conversation with Ghanaian counterparts.

Representing Nigeria, Mayorkun opens the track before giving way to Ghanaian highlife act Kuami Eugene who is succeeded by Kidi and Dutch rap act Frenna.

Afro B also releases two other remixes alongside the New Africa Remix which suggest he is intent on leveraging the record as he hopes to push to the next level.
