As culture custodians, we are dedicated to preserving and celebrating Afro-centric music, traditions, and innovation. Our newsroom consists of African creators driven by a desire to see the growth of independent African media platforms for the benefit of curious audiences. Culture Custodian was established in 2014 by our three founders, Mayowa Idowu, Tito Amuchienwa and Aedan Asika but continues to exist through the work of every team member who has been a part of building the company over the years.
