Former governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido said governance under President Muhammadu Buhari has lost value and purpose.

Lamido, a presidential aspirant on the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), believes urgent measures are needed to rescue the country.

Lamido made the remarks, yesterday, in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, while canvasing support of delegates ahead of the forthcoming convention of the party.

He declared: “Under the current Federal Government, life has no value as Nigerians are killed like flies and the president is not bothered because he is a “para-civilian.”

He believes President Buhari has not been handling the herdsmen crisis well.

According to him, “there are both farmers and herders in the United States of America, but all are living peacefully. Buhari administration deceived Nigerians that they are credible if voted into power only to inflict untold hardship on the people.”

He therefore advised eligible voters to as a matter of urgency, register and endeavour to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to enable them elect candidates of their choice during the elections.
