David Oyelowo has had a successful career in acting, with some of his most popular roles including a reprisal of Martín Luther King Jr in 2014’s Selma and a role in the musical Les Miserables. Based on his rise to stardom in the acting scene, the British-Nigerian actor, is currently being considered as a co-star alongside Hollywood A-list actor, George Clooney, for the Netflix adaptation of GoodMorning, Midnight.
The novel by Lily Brooks’s dalton, is set in a post-apocalyptic universe and follows the parallel stories of Augustine, a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to make contact with the crew of the Aether spacecraft as they try to return home to Earth.
The lead role, Augustine, will be played by George Clooney and other actors such as Kyle Chandler and Felicity Jones are part of the cast. Oyelowo’s role is yet to be announced but critics are certain it will be one of an award worthy performance.
