Very few musicians make it a point of duty these days to make social development a key goal to achieve using their art. Born and raised in Nigeria, and now based in Brooklyn, Nigerian-American artist, Edoheart, is one of the select few; bridging the gap between art and change in the world today and up to her music, her desire for change is ever evident.

Her forthcoming EP, For The Love, is a testament of her uniqueness and off the looming project this week, she shares an abstract visualizer for Rogie (Oh No), the introductory track of the self-described dynamic project.

The avant-garde video is a mashup of slices of Edoheart’s subconscious which revolves around love, intense emotions, introspection and confusion among others. Speaking about the EDM inspired song and ensuing visualizer, Edoheart said

Rogie (Oh No) is about a place of unrequited love and resulting madness. The visualizer I have created is a distillation of evocative signs, symbols, and sound—intersensorial prestidigitation. I cracked a vial and colored potion began to swirl around, and in the long shadows of the candlelight I could see the forms of past loves and future lives.”
