Following his debut album, CROWN ME A HALO that debuted number three on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts in Ghana, Denzel Roberts drops a follow-up single, Ice Cream Love.
Denzel is known for his clean slate rap flows both on stage and in his songs. Especially after wowing the crowd at Kona, he has gained quite the reputation as an instrument playing rapper – who also delivers on stage.
The Ghanaian musician takes on vocals in his latest track and allows Taps handle the rapping. Just like the name implies, the song expresses the lead’s sweet fondness of his lover. He confidently asks for the love of his partner and explains that she “makes his heart go ting-a-ling”.
The song generally has a laidback vibe to its tune which makes it easy on the ears especially during a relaxation session – that’s what I did.
