Lady Donli has never conformed with her music or visuals and with the first single off her debut album, she shows us there will be no departure from the non-conformist nature that has personified her career thus far. Going the funk route on ‘Games’ featuring GJtheCaesar, Donli addresses being played and her unwillingness to partake in the childlike endeavors leaving the listener excited and anticipating more from her.
GJtheCaesar’s persona on the record is in juxtaposition to Donli and while she asks if he may be entertaining other lovers, he’s got the confidence of someone who knows he’s got her on lock.
