Nigerians will rule the world, some day. In the news this time, it’s Laolu Senbanjo, NY-based artist and musician who comes to the center of the limelight for a collaboration with Nike.
Senbanjo has earned a name for himself as a result of his expertise across multiple fields from fashion to music and art. He is one of the people behind online series, Assorted Meat and a member of Afromysterics who graced the stage at SXSW 2015.
In his new collaboration with Nike, Senbanjo draws inspiration from his Yoruba heritage and global travels. At Air Max Con this Friday, he’ll be creating art, incorporating his love for Air Max, New York City, and sports.
Laolu Senbanjo is a law degree holder after bagging a degree from University of Ilorin. He claims that the knowledge gained then is now used to ensure that his intellectual property is not infringed on.
Laolu has also worked with Equinox, American luxury fitness company on a new Committed ad campaign.
