Since his signing with Atlanta based record label, LVRN, Santi has become one of the more sought after newcomers in the world. Fresh off the heels of being tapped by Goldlink for artistic direction in the yet-to-be-released video for U Say, Virginia native, Masego popular for his jazzed-up Hip-hop style and the acclaimed Queen Tings joins the list of collaborators.
Santi’s involvement with Masego and this feature comes as no surprise seeing as the latter has been very vocal about his fascination with our very own artistic enigma but what we weren’t prepared for was the other-worldly delivery perfectly executed by Santi on the Afro-pop inspired track.
Though not extensive, Santi’s short but crispy verse delivered in Rastafarian inflections makes for a very welcome development on the otherwise monotonous track and more than anything leaves a lasting impression which is typical of the singer.
Santi is currently gearing up to the release of yet another dramatic and wildly controversial video and we can not wait to see what he brings to the table this time.
