Mr Eazi and Simi fed off their synergy in 2018 when they paired up to sell us one of their biggest hits till date, Surrender and with a keen eye for what’s hot or not, Mr Eazi reprises his role as Simi’s lover in his just-released “raw and uncut Afro-RnB record”, the Killertunes produced Doyin.
Atop futuristic synths tempered with mellow Afro rhythms and the sweetest of lyrics, Mr Eazi, and Simi profess their feelings for each other in a manner similar to the plot of Surrender. With Killertunes’s soundscape designed to inspire a spiritous ambiance, the duo deliver harmonious verses and a reverberating chorus that brings to mind, the competence of their partnership.
Mr Eazi is slowly making his way back to making music after taking months off solo projects and with Supernova and Doyin leading the way, he’s well on his way to owning 2019 just like he did the previous year.
