Oluwatosin Ajibade, known as Mr Eazi is currently one of the fastest rising stars in African music. He fits into the Afrobeats music genre and is also a pioneer for a sound he calls “Banku music” which portrays his Ghanaian side.

Big hits like ‘Skintight,’ ‘Hollup‘ and ‘Bankulize‘ have turned things around for this superstar over the years. Mr. Eazi went from being an event promoter in Kumasi, Ghana to what he is today, a star across West Africa.

Just last May, Mr Eazi was signed to Wizkid‘s Starboy Worldwide Entertainment group. Having made jams with top musicians like Sarkodie, Joey B, Pappy Kojo, Olamide and DJ Cuppy, Mr. Eazi isn’t slowing down with the success. Only a few days ago, Mr Eazi released his mixtape, ‘Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos‘ which you are all urged to listen to ASAP!

Complex caught up with him during a break in the shoot for his Leg Over video and the star did have a few things to say about the things that have happened in the last year, his world tour and how Afrobeats (including his music) is reaching the four corners of the earth.
