Nonso Amadi and Kwesi Arthur are heart-breakers on new single ‘Comfortable’

Nonso Amadi is gearing up to the release of his sophomore EP, his second solo sojourn after his joint project with Odunsi (The Engine), War. Originally released in 2015 – a year that witnessed the outpour of the new school in the Nigerian music industry – Nonso Amadi’s first project, Alone painted him in a light different from what we’re seeing now, one that begun with the release of Emergency. On Emergency, Nonso Amadi took on more upbeat instrumentals and on his latest single titled Comfortable which features Ghana’s man of the moment, Kwesi Arthur, he takes the same route.

Though it shares the same narrative and vocal delivery with his previous releases, Comfortable is a more upbeat and movement inspiring ode to the track’s Muse.

While Kwesi Arthur delivers rhythmic bars over the colourful Pop soundscape, Nonso Amadi serenades us with a lines that though might be tragic, are mood-inducing.

With Emergency and Comfortable, the chances that the coming project will be equipped with not only ballads but movement inducing tracks are high and this makes for great anticipation.
