For Jamaican born Dancehall Connoisseur, Popcaan, 2018 was an amazing year, a year in which he revelled in the explosion of his artistry which finally got the recognition it should have years ago, with an unboxable 17 track album filled with tales and gyrations for every mood and a spanking Label deal with Drake’s OVO Sounds.

Just before bowing out of an amazing year, he blessed us here in Nigeria with his formidable presence, pitching his tent with Davido; who played a big role in one of the standout tracks in Forever; Popcaan’s second studio album released earlier this year and Davido’s OBO crew. Not one to leave business out of Pleasure, Popcaan graced Peruzzi’s EP with a feature and shot the video for Dun Rich; the 13th track off the album featuring Davido.
In sceneries bearing resemblance to his hometown, Popcaan trailblazed through Lagos with Davido and his muse donning expressions and breaking out moves that are significant to his ‘come let me change your life’ narrative.
Perhaps its the breezy energy Lagos inspires at this time of the year or the chill vibes Popcaan elicits all the time but Dun Rich is an Afropop and Dancehall aesthetic begging to be cherished.
