Show Dem Camp Lead With Seriousness In Abstract Lyric Video For ‘Savage’

Posted on

Singlehandedly, the eclectic duo; Ghost and Tek of Show Dem Camp have redefined what it means to successfully and profitably exist as a nonconforming group in an industry that otherwise stifles the growth of nonconformists. With their myriad of acclaimed projects, the duo has managed to remain relevant in these times and as they continue to wield their creativity as their weapon of choice, they climb higher. Two years ago, they shared the fourth volume of their Clone Wars series which they specially tagged, These Buhari Times and while the project has run its course, it has a timeless ring to it, one which they remind us of this week with the lyric video for the project’s second track Savage, exclusively released on Instagram.

Joined by Ladipoe, the duo’s third wheel on this menacing track on a serene street in Lagos Island at 4 am “one random Sunday morning”, the trio offloads their truckload of hard-hitting bars, motivating the inner warriors in their viewers to come alive and affording the single a second chance in our active playlists. Though not much happens in the video, the emotions playing on the trio’s faces are enough to cap their seriousness at a high level indicating just how important the lyric video is despite its lack of drama.
