With over 50 episodes in the bag, F&S Uncensored recently launched its second season with promises of more guests and intriguing stories as well as a newly launched NYSC Diaries segment. On the second episode of the season, they begin delivering on their promise as they host Diageo Reserve Spirits Brand Ambassador, manager of Prettyboy DO and founding member of the Culture Custodian, Tinya Alonge.
During the almost two-hour conversation, the trio touch on issues like body shaming and mines conversation from topics that have dominated the rhetoric on social media over the past couple of weeks including the recent sexual harassment case at OAU and body positivity in light of the most recent Slumflower Twitter-inspired discussions.
The rest of the dialogue maps Tinya’s beginnings in the entertainment industry in Nigeria as a teenager, going off to university in the UK, starting Culture Custodian and eventually returning to Nigeria. They also talk about Tinya becoming Asa Asika’s personal assistant and Boj’s road manager; he and Boj growing together and now managing Prettyboy DO and continuing to become a power broker within the Nigerian entertainment ecosystem.
