There are few things more interesting than Spyro’s transition to Falsetto on one of his 2018 hits: Japa and one of them is the Pop culture trend he enhanced with his Afrobeat stylized rendition of the popular term “Funke! Apostle must hear of this” released earlier this year.
Second is the just released psychedelic video for Japa which casts him, Tobi Bakre and Dremo: the contributing Rappers, in major roles. The synchronized, comedic and dramatic scenes mirror the heartfelt tale of heartbreak the trio tell in the song in the way the hazy backdrops fuse well with their mellow and mellifluous renditions.
