Wande Coal gives Niniola’s Maradona the Iskaba Touch

Niniola scored her biggest record with Maradona, almost four years after she emerged third runner up at the sixth season of the West African Project Fame. Despite emerging fourth back then, Niniola is arguably the biggest act from her class with the only other contestant to achieve some form of mainstream success so far being Johnny Drille. With the success of the record, Wande Coal jumping on it is unlikely to send a large number of new listeners Niniola’s way. However, it’s a win for the singer to see someone as big as Wande Coal jump on her record.

On Wande’s cover, the singer in some form offers a response to Niniola who questions her lover’s loyalty and urges him to quit playing games. With lines like “Se OPC ni e to n so mi kiri” Wande is likely to appeal to the association of unfaithful Yoruba men which is basically all of us.

Everytime Wande talks soccer on the music, it’s a hit, remember Who Born The Maga?
