21 Magazine’s Girls That Gather Returns for an International Women’s Day Edition in Lagos

In celebration of International Women’s Month 2026, 21 Magazine will host a special event, Girls That Gather, a recurring community event that brings women together through culture, creativity, and meaningful conversations.

The upcoming event which  will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Fired & Iced in Lagos, is part of 21 Magazine’s dedication to amplifying the voices, work, and networks of African women who were once marginalized across culture and industry, by gathering women from across creative, media, business, and cultural spaces for a day designed around connection and shared experiences.

21 Magazine was founded as a space for women to connect beyond the digital world, Girls That Gather reflects the brand’s commitment to building community around the stories, ideas, and ambitions of African women. Since its launch, the event has served as a meeting point for women interested in culture, wellness, creativity, and collaboration.

This special March gathering will welcome over 250 women for an immersive experience designed to encourage reflection, exploration, and connection. Through thoughtful activities, interactive workshops, and engaging brand activities, attendees will have opportunities to create, learn, and connect with one another in a vibrant and supportive environment. Hosted in partnership with Uncover Africa, ProducHERS, and Beauty Hut, the event will also feature a curated marketplace highlighting women-led brands, celebrating the entrepreneurs and creatives shaping contemporary culture in Lagos.
