Capt Dyse and Gizz Beatz connect on Mary Jane

It’s accepted that South Africa and Nigeria have the more dominant hip hop scenes in Africa. Naturally, this has created some sort of muted rivalry. Captain Dyse is a new artist who’s a product of both environments in that he’s Nigerian but is more ingrained in the Johannesburg Hip Hop scene. His new single, Mary Jane encapsulates this as we get a track filled with both Nigerian and South African references suggesting a play at both markets. Gizz Beatz who produces the song also drops a verse.
