At the end of March, it was reported that Cameroon was forcing Nigerian refugees out of the country and back to Boko Haram-hit communities much to the dismay of the United Nations Refugee Agency.

Sahara Reporters then reported on the 16th of April that about 3800 Nigerian refugees have returned from Cameroon and are now returning to the remains of their original homes in the Bama local government area of Borno State.

On arrival back in Nigeria, the returned refugees were said to have been given relief materials such as blankets, mats and food items however the bigger question is what steps shall the government take to ensure the resurgence of the communities hit by Boko Haram.
