In the spirit of the election period in Nigeria, Griot Studios and Amateur Heads Production have released the first trailer for their new politically charged film, 4th Republic.
The film stars, Kate Henshaw, Eniynna Nwigwe, Yakubu Mohammed, Linda Ejiofor, Sani Mu’azu and Bimbo Manuel. Written by Zainab Omaki, Emil B. Garuba and Ishaya Bako, 4th Republic follows the story of a problematic governorship election, through aspirant Mabel King and her idealistic campaign manager, Ike.
The duo of King and Ike embark on a mission to find out what went wrong and seek justice through an election petition tribunal.
The film industry is currently undergoing a new phase in which timely and relevant quality content is being taken up as the new objective and it is quite riveting to watch.
